The Toronto Airport Train
Linking Pearson Airport with the city, the UP Express is a fast, efficient rail line and comfortably the best value for money of any option. Little wonder it ranks among the most popular ways to leave the airport. The service is fully accessible and throws in free Wi-Fi, charging points, live flight updates, fold-down tables, and roomy baggage racks. All told, the UP Express air-rail link counts as a swift, reliable, and handy piece of Pearson's ground transport network.
The Schedule and Route of the UP Express Train
Pulling out of its terminal platform, the airport train heads straight for downtown Toronto. Along the way the route ties the airport to:
- Weston Station: connection to GO Transit Kitchener Line (11 minutes)
- Bloor Station: connection to GO Transit Kitchener Line and Subway Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) (17 minutes)
- Union Station: Toronto's main rail hub, with VIA Rail and Subway Line 1 (Yonge-University) connections (25 minutes)
Departures come every 15 minutes. Trains run:
- Weekdays: from 05:27 am to 11:27 pm
- Weekends & public holidays: from 06:27 am to 11:27 pm
Where is the Train Station at Toronto Pearson Airport?
Pearson has two terminal buildings, yet only Terminal 1 holds the airport train station. You will find the platform inside Terminal 1, right next to the Terminal Link Station.
Terminal Link is the free, automated shuttle rail joining:
- Terminal 1
- Terminal 3
- Viscount Station
Landing at Terminal 1, just follow the signs reading "Train to City." If you come in at Terminal 3, ride the Terminal Link Train across to Terminal 1. The Terminal Link runs around the clock.
