Terminal 3 has two sealed zones, and your boarding pass decides which lounges you can reach. Domestic and international passengers choose between two Plaza Premium rooms (near Gate B24 and near Gate C32) and, for international flights only, the Air France–KLM Crown Lounge. US-bound passengers clear preclearance first and then have Plaza Premium A10 or the Admirals Club. The question people actually ask is the one a Reddit user put this way: "what is everyone's go to lounge in terminal 3 (US bound flight) and what status do you need to get in?" (user report, Reddit). This page answers it room by room; for the full decision path for Pearson lounges, start with the parent guide.
Terminal 3 US
If you are flying to the US from Terminal 3, your lounge is the Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate A10, plus the Admirals Club if you qualify through American Airlines or oneworld. Both sit past US preclearance: you cannot walk over to the KLM Crown Lounge or the C32 room, and passengers on Canadian or international flights cannot come to you.

- Hours: 05:30–19:30 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: GTAA. Priority Pass's own listing shows a slightly earlier close, so treat the last half hour as uncertain.
- What the GTAA highlights: a cooking station where you "custom order your breakfast" (GTAA lounge page).
- Ways in: Priority Pass, Amex Platinum and the other card programmes listed on the access page; walk-in at the door; or pre-booking online. Card visits are capped at 2 hours per visit with Priority Pass or Amex Platinum 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: Priority Pass / Amex.
- Children: under 2 free; children 2–11 pay 30% less at the door 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: GTAA.
Check the hours before you rely on this room: the US zone has no late option. Once A10 closes, the Admirals Club is already closed too (see below), and there is no way back across preclearance to the international side.
Terminal 3: Domestic, International
If you are flying international (not US), take the lift at Gate C32 to the "AT Level" and use the Plaza Premium International Departures lounge; if you are flying domestic, use the Plaza Premium room near Gate B24. That is the operator's own split. The confusion comes from the airport: GTAA labels both rooms "CAN/INTL", while Plaza Premium and Priority Pass call B24 "Domestic Departures, Terminal 3" and C32 "International Departures". Priority Pass adds that C32 "is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or US transborder flights", and Plaza Premium's page for C32 says "Passengers departing on U.S.-bound flights are invited to use the U.S. Transborder lounges" (Plaza Premium, Toronto listing).
So the practical rule: international boarding pass → C32; domestic boarding pass → B24. The two rooms are also priced very differently online: from CAD 24.68 (Terminal 1 Domestic and US), CAD 25.00 (Terminal 3 International), CAD 73.00 (Terminal 3 Domestic and US), CAD 24.86 (Infield Concourse) 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: Plaza Premium. If you pre-book, make sure you are booking the room your flight actually allows; if you are unsure at the door, ask before you pay.

Two user views of the Plaza Premium rooms, for balance: "I think the PPL (International) Terminal 3 is way better than PPL (Domestic) Terminal 1." and, on a Plaza Premium room, "well maintained, with frequent refills" (user reports, Reddit). British Airways passengers: several reports say the BA section in this terminal is reserved for Club World, so economy BA passengers should assume Plaza Premium or KLM, not a BA room (user reports, Reddit).
International: KLM vs Plaza Premium
For an international departure from Terminal 3 you have two lounges, and the trade-off is hours versus peak-time risk: the Air France–KLM Crown Lounge opens later and closes earlier than Plaza Premium C32, and users report it turning Priority Pass members away in the evening rush; C32 is open earlier and later but is the busier, more mixed room. Neither is "better" as a fact; the table gives you the criteria.
| Criterion | Air France–KLM Crown Lounge | Plaza Premium C32 |
|---|---|---|
| Where | One level above Gate C33, past duty free, inside the international checkpoint | Lift at Gate C32 to the AT Level |
| Who gets in free | KLM, Air France and SkyTeam qualifying passengers; Priority Pass, DragonPass and DreamFolks holders | Priority Pass, Amex Platinum and other card programmes (which ones) |
| Paying without a card | CAD 50 at the desk, subject to space, for any passenger departing internationally from Terminal 3 | Walk-in rate card (CAD 65 for 2 hours, CAD 79 for 3 hours, CAD 105 for 6 hours (taxes extra); children 2–11 pay 30% less, under 2 free) or online pre-booking |
| Who is excluded | US-bound flights (Priority Pass: "Terminal 3 international departure flights only") | Domestic and US-bound flights |
| Hours | 09:00–22:30 daily per KLM; Priority Pass shows a shorter day with later closes on some weekdays | 05:30–01:00 daily |
| Maximum stay with a card | 3 hours with Priority Pass | 2 hours per visit with Priority Pass or Amex Platinum |
| Size (operator) | "575 square meters … seating capacity of 161" (KLM Canada) | Not published by the operator |
| Showers | Not listed on KLM's page | Listed, "charges may apply", by booking at the desk |
| Peak-time risk (user reports) | Refusals of Priority Pass in the late-afternoon and evening bank | Waitlists at busy times, as in other Plaza Premium rooms |
Hours, prices and limits: checked on 2026-09-26; sources KLM, GTAA, Priority Pass — the hours table below carries the badge on each figure.
Who KLM suits, and who it does not
KLM suits a Priority Pass, DragonPass or DreamFolks holder flying international in the middle of the day, and any international Terminal 3 passenger willing to pay CAD 50 at the desk, subject to space, for any passenger departing internationally from Terminal 3 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: KLM. KLM's own wording is "upon availability, regardless of their airline or class of service", so paid entry is not a reservation. It does not suit a US-bound flight (excluded outright), an early-morning departure (KLM opens hours after Plaza Premium), or a flight leaving after the KLM close, when C32 is the only door still open.
The evening bank is where the user reports cluster. One Reddit user wrote: "I've seen them refuse priority pass members to prioritize AF/KLM J class passengers at peak evening times (4:30-7pm)" (user report, Reddit). That is a user observation resting on a few threads, not anything KLM publishes. Treat it as a reason to ask at the desk before you commit, with C32 as the fallback. The same audience still leans KLM on comfort: "I'll pick the KLM lounge (even if the letters fall of the wall) over the plaza premium lounge every single time." (user report, Reddit).
How to check on the day
Walk to the KLM desk first if you hold a qualifying card: it is one level above the C gates and the answer takes a minute. If you are refused or the wait is long, C32 is on the same international side. If you are paying, compare KLM's desk price with door prices versus prepaid rates for Pearson lounges before you decide; pre-booking Plaza Premium is cheaper than the door but does not guarantee entry either.
Admirals Club
The Admirals Club is the second lounge in the Terminal 3 US zone: it sits on the Transfer Level near the duty-free stores, and its published hours are 05:00–19:00 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: American Airlines. That close is earlier than Plaza Premium A10's, so an evening US departure on American Airlines will find the Admirals Club shut and A10 the only option, and after A10 closes there is no lounge in the zone at all.
Access follows American Airlines' own Admirals Club rules (membership, eligible oneworld cabins and status); AA's Toronto page does not publish a guest policy for this location, so check your entitlement on American Airlines' Admirals Club page for YYZ rather than assuming it matches other clubs. Amenities per AA: complimentary food and drinks, a full-service bar, complimentary Wi-Fi; conference rooms are listed as not available, and showers are not listed. There is no Priority Pass, DragonPass or Amex route into this room.
Hours, Terminal 3
All five Terminal 3 lounges open early except KLM, and only Plaza Premium C32 stays open past midnight, so a red-eye international passenger has exactly one lounge and a red-eye US passenger has none. Each figure below carries its own source badge; where another official page shows a different close, the note says so. The method is on the parent guide under how we verify hours.
| Lounge | Zone | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Plaza Premium A10 | US (past preclearance) | 05:30–19:30 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: GTAA |
| Admirals Club | US (past preclearance) | 05:00–19:00 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: American Airlines |
| Plaza Premium B24 | Domestic (GTAA label: CAN/INTL) | 05:30–22:30 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: GTAA |
| Plaza Premium C32 | International | 05:30–01:00 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: GTAA |
| Air France–KLM Crown Lounge | International only | 09:00–22:30 daily 26 Eyl 2026 tarihinde kontrol edildi · kaynak: KLM |
Two things the table cannot tell you. First, between the C32 close and the early openings there is no lounge in either zone; if you are connecting through the night, read where to sleep at Pearson when the lounges are closed. Second, open is not the same as having a seat: Plaza Premium entry is "subject to space availability" however you got in, and the parent guide covers what to do when a valid card still may not get you in at peak times.
Flying from Terminal 1?
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are not connected airside, so none of the rooms above help you if your flight leaves from Terminal 1. Use the Terminal 1 lounges guide instead, and if you are not sure which terminal you need, check which terminal your airline uses at Pearson first.
